QQI Level 5 Fitness, Health, and Exercise Update
Well done to this year’s Fitness, Health, and Exercise class who completed their exams recently.

‘After completing this course I have learned lots of new skills. I really enjoyed getting to know all the people in my class and all my tutors. I would recommend a PLC to anyone that is unsure of what they wanted to do in college as this course has taught me what I do and don’t want to do in my future career. When I first started, I had no idea what I was doing however as the course went on, I got more involved in each activity. It was a great year to get myself ready for college in September. I have learned lots of new life lessons and have matured a lot since the beginning. Although it was in a secondary school, everyone was still treated like adults. I really enjoyed the module Nutrition as I have a big interest in furthering my career in this area. Katie was over our course, and she was extremely helpful throughout the whole course and always motivated us to get all our assignments done and in the gym practicals. I had many great experiences on the course’.

‘I enjoyed my time here on the course. It has been a great year getting to learn about what I am interested in, in a place that’s not fully college but not secondary school either. It gave me a college experience.
I would recommend everyone do a PLC course before heading to do college as I think it gives a great overall view on what you want to do for a 4-year course.
My favourite module is Anatomy and Physiology. I got to learn about the body and that’s exactly what I needed for my course next year. I want to do physiotherapy and help people who have injuries get back to sports’.
