National Hairdressing Apprenticeship Information for Employers

The National Hairdressing Apprenticeship is a practical route into hairdressing where you earn as you learn. Apprentices work 4 days a week with their employer and one day a week in college. Apprentices will graduate after completing three years as a fully qualified Hairdresser and obtain a Quality Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) Level 6 award on the National Framework of Qualifications. As an added bonus this fully funded apprenticeship provides your salon with an on the job mentor, a local learning community and a €2,000 annual training grant.
