Course Overview: This course is designed to facilitate those wishing to pursue a career in hairdressing which involves on and off the job intensive salon training. It provides students with a broad range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge required for the hairdressing industry. Training is provided in our fully equipped modern salon.

Course Information:
Throughout the course students will attend workshops with industry specialists in cutting, colouring, barbering, and up-styling. Students enter national hairdressing competitions and we have had many winners over the years.
Erasmus Exchange Programme to Sweden and Malaga:
Each year a number of students are selected to participate in a three week exchange work experience placement either to Vasteras, Sweden or Malaga, Spain. These students get an excellent opportunity to work in salons and gain invaluable experience, as part of the Erasmus Plus Programme. You can also follow us on Instagram ECC_Hairdressing.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Leaving certificate (or equivalent).
No academic requirements for over 23s.
All our PLC courses are available to people who are VTOS eligible. VTOS means Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme. VTOS gives unemployed adults over 21 the opportunity of returning to full time education while retaining their benefits.
Cost:
There is a Student Service Contribution of €50 which is non-refundable.
